A Peaceful Journey from Kirkintilloch
Departing from the marina in Kirkintilloch, Helen and her support staff enjoyed a calm and scenic journey along the canal. The outing was filled with beautiful views of water wildlife and plant life. Helen especially loved the graceful heron and the colourful water lilies, which made the journey even more memorable.
A cup of tea, a light snack, and friendly conversation on board gave Helen a truly enjoyable and relaxing day.
Accessible Outdoor Experiences with the Seagull Trust
The barge trip was provided by the Seagull Trust, an organisation with branches across Scotland that offers fully accessible boat experiences. Helen was especially pleased that the barge had a lift, making it easy for everyone to get on and off comfortably.
