Deans’ birthday is this week. His joy in life is having the power washer out and washing as many cars as he can, but he has always wanted to wash a bus. That birthday wish came true thanks to Photoflash Travel based in Carluke.
The best way to wash a bus
Dean was welcomed by all, and after a quick safety briefing and being issued with the gear, Dean was given instruction on the best way to wash the bus by a lovely driver named Paul. Dean flourished under Paul’s guidance and completed the full wash and rinse with confidence. The praise given by Paul to Dean was evident in the massive smile on Dean’s face.
Enjoying a luxury bus ride
Paul then took Dean on a luxury bus ride around Carluke and took the time to tell Dean all about the “Ferry Lift” and why the bus needed to do this over uneven ground. He also explained the safe stopping distance from a car in front. Dean was surprised that one car length is all it takes to move the bus around an obstacle! Paul also explained the maximum speed a bus can travel, did you know its 62 mph? Dean didn’t, and he said he felt like he was speeding, as Paul said it the size that makes you feel as if you’re going fast.
Dean’s Birthday wish came true and, in his words, “Fantastic!”
